If I Were Hedda Gabler

An Audio Participatory Site-Specific Tour at a Former strip club, ‘The Pussiket’, (25 mins)

The Social Space in Atarim Square, 2020

An experiential audio tour into the intricacies of a controversial strip club that operated for years in the city center, the tour navigates between the visible and hidden spaces of the building, revealing the complexity & dark facts of the sex industry, thereby leading us to rethink the choices we make in our lives, what motivates us & what we need in order to be able to look at our inner truth.

While navigating physically and emotionally between the floors of the club and among items left in it from the days of its operation, themes surrounding human-social mortality emerge: intimacy, concealment, exposure, authority, responsibility.
