An Interactive Performance in A Museum Gallery (30 mins)
Hifa Museum of Modern Art, 2016
Through continuous live instructions, of actions and physical compositions in the space, new meanings are created in relation to spectators' expected behavior towards the exhibited artworks and towards each other.
The instructions given by the artists move the spectators throughout the exhibition space in various choreography and forms, in order to create human compositions which react to the artistic surrounding, inspired by it, or counter it.
restrictions are violated and substituted by permits for interactive actions which transform the spectators from passive and anonymous figures into fully present figures as the artwork surrounding them. The exhibited space as a whole turns into a human-evolving live art event.
The instructions lead to interactions between the spectators themselves and question the behavior codes in a museum space.
